I'm not a big NHL fan, but this is pretty interesting. In the Eastern Conference playoffs, first round, the #1 seed Washington lost 4-3 to the #8 seed Montreal, #2 seed New Jersey lost 4-1 to the #7 seed Philadelphia, #3 seed Buffalo lost 4-2 to the #6 seed Boston, and #4 seed Pittsburgh beat #5 seed Ottawa 4 games to 2. Note that in each round of the NHL playoffs, teams are reseeded (highest seed vs lowest seed). So, in the Eastern Conference semi-finals, #4 Pittsburgh plays #8 Montreal and #6 Boston gets home ice against #7 Philadelphia. The Western Conference is more "predictable" - #1 San Jose plays #5 Detroit and #2 Chicago plays #3 Vancouver.

I was watching the NFL draft last night, and, although it's not really up my alley, I thought that would be a kinda cool spectator sport. Something on the "bucket list" for sports. Then I thought, what else would be on that list? Here's what I came up with. Some of these I've done, but not many of them. Any I'm forgetting? Tiger finished tied for 4th in this year's Masters, which actually means he lost a bit of ground on Jack Nicklaus. Jack's 51st event (1974 British Open) ended up with a 3rd place finish.
