Las Vegas Restaurants
In addition to my series on attractions (free and low-cost) and shows, I thought I'd post something about some of the restaurants in Las Vegas I've been to and would like to go to. This will be more of a review than the other postings.
Note that I don't include big chains like California Pizza Kitchen, Outback, ESPN Zone, etc., that I've been to. And I also don't include reviews of any of the buffets here - these are sit-down restaurants only.

- Chinois was good food. It wouldn't be high on my list to visit again (I'd rather go to somewhere new)
- CUT I've never been there but heard this is a great steak place
- Pampas Brazilian Grille go there for lunch (cheaper) and it's well worth the price
- Sushi Roku it's sushi, so it's expensive, but very good
- In-N-Out although not really a sit-down restaurant, a must-go if you've never been to one. Although not necessary, it's a lot more fun if you know the secret menu before you go.
- Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville restaurant kind-of a chain, but still good
- Monte Carlo Pub & Brewery is a good brew-pub to check out
- Strip House I've never been there, but it's supposed to be a good and sexy steak place
- SW Steakhouse heard great things about this steak place
- Toby Keith's decent food, but good entertainment from the bartenders
- Botero yet another steak place I've heard about but never been to
- Battista's Hole In The Wall good place to go with a group of people
- Ellis Island it's not on the menu - you have to ask for the special - but they have an awesome steak dinner available for cheap (and it's rated as the best steak dinner in town)
